Much of Tanya's childhood was spent with her grandmother in a world built on imagination and creativity. With little distraction beyond books, drawing and storytelling, she spent hours creating miniature gardens on biscuit tin lids and in windowsills. She built tiny magical worlds from whatever she could find. Those early influences never left her. The delicate illustrations and enchanting worlds created by artists such as Beatrix Potter and Margaret Tarrant, never left her.
